Sayeh Villa
Project Introduction
SAYEH Villa is a residential renovation project located in Absard, Damavand, Tehran Province. The project began with an existing old villa, where the design team chose to preserve the original structure while applying targeted modifications to improve spatial quality.
By partially removing sections of the old building and adding cantilevers in key points, the team created a dynamic form and enriched both the interior plan and the façade. These interventions introduced voids and light wells, improving natural light, airflow, and visual connections. Covering the cantilevers with box-shaped volumes gave the villa a modern identity aligned with contemporary architectural needs.
SAYEH Villa is a clear example of innovative villa renovation—respecting the past while creating a modern and luxurious residential experience.
Materials & Climatic Strategy
The design strategy was closely adapted to the climatic conditions of Damavand, an area known for cold winters and mild summers. By integrating natural ventilation, daylight optimization, and durable modern materials, the renovation ensures comfort, energy efficiency, and long-term sustainability. Local elements were combined with modern finishes to strengthen the villa’s architectural character.
